Proceeds will be used to:

• Secure 200 free scholarships for Pre-K students primarily from Kansas City underserved communities
• Hire additional teachers and administrative staff to continue the standard of excellence set by Mrs. Williams, Mr. Betsey and the many teachers and staff that have served the Learning Center over 40 years
• Reunite and organize the Learning Center alumni and parent associations
• Integrate new technologies to enhance Learning Center education methodologies
• Develop a case study to document the experiences of Learning Center Alumni
• Engage in partnerships to extend education opportunities to other Kansas City underserved communities
• Position the Learning Center as an anchor institution in the Wendall Phillips community for education, training, spiritual growth and progress
